Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of understanding profit sharing, interest and information on Islamic bank products on the interest in becoming a sharia bank customer in ITB AAS Indonesia Students in Islamic Economics Study Program. This study uses multiple linear regression equation, namely Y = a + β1X1 + β2X2 + β3X3 + e with a total sample of 54 respondents and data collection using a questionnaire. The results of the research obtained are the effect of understanding profit sharing (X1), interest (X2), and information on Islamic bank products (X3) together have an effect on interest in becoming a customer of Islamic banks (Y). The results of the t-test (partial) showed that the variable understanding of profit sharing and understanding of Islamic bank product information had a positive and significant effect on interest in becoming a sharia bank customer. While the variable understanding of interest has a negative and significant effect on interest in becoming a customer of Islamic banks. While the F test (simultaneous) the effect of understanding profit sharing, interest and information on Islamic bank products has an effect on interest in becoming a sharia bank customer, this is evidenced by Fcount > Ftable, which is 26.180 > 2.79, which means H0 is rejected, the research model with the variable understanding of profit sharing, interest, and product information of Islamic banks simultaneously affect the interest in becoming a customer of Islamic banks. This research can be concluded that the R square value of 0.588 indicates that the independent variable consisting of understanding of profit sharing, interest and product information of Islamic banks is able to explain the dependent variable, namely interest in becoming a customer of Islamic banks by 58.8% while the rest is influenced by other variables.
